Wow. I really enjoyed that interview. Hearing her speak like that about the community really made me think of myself and the reasons why I cosplay. It's really too bad the community isn't as positive about this book, because I really liked it from the images on her website. I especially liked what she said about girls and cosplay and empowerment. As a social worker, our most important task is empowering people. That really got me thinking.

Thanks for showing me this!

Hey Jiro! Thanks for your kind post on my blog! :) Anyway, that is a really amazing sight. The only icicles I see are the ones in my fridge but they are dwarfed by the ones right outside your window. And from the temperature you described, I can only imagine how cold it must get when the wind blows... *brrr*

Oh I noticed that you are doing research on anime fandom. It's something that has really taken off in Singapore too the past year with so many cosplay events being held throughout the year, manga and meido cafes sprouting up and feature length anime movies being screened to packed houses in cinemas. How's the scene like in Toronto?

Looking forward to reading updates on your blog too. :)

God Bless!

Those are some of the most wicked ones I've seen. What if they fell on someone? They'd probably get impaled, then the ice would melt and no one would have ever known.

Great shots, btw.
